Print on Print on Print

Cami, Blazer - H&M, Necklace - Colaba, Jeans - Forever21, Sunglasses - Accessorize, Shoes - Singapore (Bugis street), On my lips - Mac Heroine

The print on print trend has been around for quite a while now. Even though bold experimental fashion always excites me, I was a little apprehensive about mixing prints and whether I would be able to pull it off. I finally decided to overcome this anxiety, because, better late than sorry, right?

I started this outfit with the shoes for a change. I wore these animal print flats and decided to wear a printed top to make the outfit a little more fun. As I mentioned in my previous post, I love camisoles. If I could have my way, I'd wear a different cami every day for the rest of the summer! I wore this snakeskin camisole that I found at the H&M store in London. H&M has been one of my favourite brands ever since I was 14, and it is devastating that they haven't come to India yet! Although, there is news of them opening their first store here later this year! (fingers crossed!) So, every time I travel, I make it a point to go to an H&M store at least twice, just to make sure I don't miss out on something amazing!

I paired the camisole with a monochrome striped blazer that I got from H&M as well. I have recently realised that, when mixing prints, stripes are the easiest because they go with almost everything! I've tried them with florals, animal prints and other stripes as well, and they've matched perfectly well each time!

I added colour to my outfit with a purple necklace and mirrored sunnies to match. While working on this look, this outfit definitely did not look good in my head, but I was really happy with the way it turned out! And now, every time I wear an outfit that doesn't include more than one print, it just seems boring!

Have you tried the print on print trend? If yes, tell me how you mixed prints in the comments below or tag me on Instagram!

Summer but not really summer!

Jacket - Mango (old); Leggings - Hill road, Bandra; Camisole - Forever 21; Boots - MakeMeChic.com; Sunnies & Rings - The Snob Shop

This look was shot a couple of weeks ago in London. Although it's supposed to be spring/summer, the weather was nowhere close to what I expected! It was 10 degrees, and I was freezing all the time. Even indoors! I usually feel like I am on the verge of frostbite even in Bombay winters, so dealing with the wind and temperature in London was extremely difficult for me. Wearing one jacket wasn't enough, and I ended up wearing gloves most of the time!

Since I wore only leather jackets and boots unless the weather chose to be a little kind to me, I decided to do a post on one of my favourite looks from London.

Camisoles are my go-to piece of clothing for the summer. All stores have them in hundreds of colours and prints, and sometimes I just want to buy the whole lot! They look flattering, and provide the perfect amount of comfort for the season. You can team them up with jeans or shorts during the day, and just add statement jewellery for the night! I wore this magenta cami with these white mesh inset leggings that were an amazing street find! The boots I wore with this outfit were ordered from MakeMeChic, (at a steal of 11 dollars!) and they were initially grey coloured. I wasn't very happy with the way they looked, though. So my inner Picasso got to work and coloured them black with ink, and I was very proud with the way they turned out. I wore my black leather peplum jacket and silver accessories to complete the look.

Don't forget to tell me what you think in the comments below!

Casual Chic

Denim joggers : Forever 21, Crop top : Shimmer (Lokhandwala), Bag : Primark, Shoes : Done by None, Cuff : Aldo, Ring : Forever 21

Although I'm usually one to choose comfort over style, sometimes my need for fashion overpowers my need for comfort, especially when I crave to get into a pair of heels! I always have a spare pair of flats in the trunk of my car to deal with such situations, though.

There is no weather better than this to wear crop tops, and given the chance, I'd wear crop tops everyday! These denim joggers are perfect for a day that involves a lot of walking, and paired with a crop top, they give you a casual chic look. I chose to keep my makeup and jewellery to a minimum, to achieve that casual everyday vibe, and added a little colour with the shoes.

Many of us are the type to go for comfort over style, but achieving both is a bonus! If you're looking for something comfortable and stylish, wearing any kind of loose pants, even sweats, with a crop top will do the trick!

Easy Spring Layering

Cape - The Snob Shop, Crop Top - The Big C (Bandra), Jeans & Sunnies - H&M, Bag - Colaba, Necklace - Primark, Bracelet - Forever 21, Shoes - New Look

Hello from London! As I'm sure most of you are aware, London weather is completely unpredictable. One minute it's chilly and windy, the next, sunny and the third, a downpour of an unexpected shower. So, although it's spring, it still isn't warm enough to wear a crop top and shorts, which is the weather I was hoping for! I chose to go with a little easy layering that would work with the sunshine and the wind.

This cape, along with a few others, will be part of Snob's new collection. Ever since I spotted it, I've been waiting for the right place and time to wear it! I don't think I can ever get over a black and white combo. It's simple, classic, and with the right accessories, very chic. Since the cape was long, I wore a crop top and jeans, and added a few gold accessories.

Have a great Sunday, y'all!
