Lazy day outfit

Top, Pants, Backpack - Forever 21 (India), Shoes - Primark, Bracelet - Makemechic, Sunglasses - The Snob Shop (coming soon)

Most of us may love our jobs, or really enjoy going to college/school everyday, but let's face it, waking up early on a Monday morning is the hardest thing. You wait to get your beauty sleep all week, and when the weekend arrives, it goes by in a blink! So if you're anything like me, and you hit the snooze button a little too much every morning, you'll know what it's like to be in no mood to wear skinny jeans when you're probably still half asleep!

Usually on days when I'm sick or haven't had enough sleep, I just cannot get out of bed. And the only thing I want to wear all day is my pyjamas. Since that isn't possible, I opt for a pair of bottoms that are loose and slouchy, which is the next best thing. I've worn these pants on the blog before, and I still love them a lot! I'd normally go for a crop top or a more fitted top with these bottoms, but instead, I went for this sleeveless turtleneck that I've been loving recently! Also, these boots are probably the most comfortable shoes ever and I've been wearing them almost everyday for the past 2 months! I then tucked the hem of my pants inside my boots just for that little edge. The entire look is just so comfortable and it's perfect for those lazy days, whether I'm going to college, or work, or just lazing around at home!

Don't forget to tell me what you think of this look! Have a great week!

Autumn/Winter style with MakeMeChic!

If you didn't know it already, I love to shop. Haha big surprise there! And although I love my shopping trips to the mall or high street every now and then, I'm more of an online shopper. Despite having many options around, there's nothing like having a package delivered to your door with stuff you want from across the world. And so, you'll constantly find me browsing through international retail stores looking for something new I may like.

If you read my post from 3 months back called 'The world in your pocket', you'll already know how much I love MakeMeChic! In case you missed it or are new to my blog, I rambled on about online retail and other websites I order from. You can read it here if you like.

MakeMeChic has been my all-time favourite online store for almost 4 years now. Their products are so different from any of the stuff I usually see around, and their shoes form a major part of my footwear collection! I've even recommended them to so many of you guys. Not just on my blog, but over email and on Instagram too. So when I got the opportunity to collaborate with them, I was over the moon to say the least!

For this post, I wanted to include my favourites from their store for autumn/winter and so I decided to do 2 complete looks in MakeMeChic. I went for the whole Glam/Grunge feel and I really hope you like the looks. I've linked each product in the details below, in case you want to get something I'm wearing from either of the looks. Just a little tip, MakeMeChic gets new stock almost everyday and their stuff sells out super fast. If you really want something, get your hands on it before it's gone. I lost out on a pair of holographic heels in my size back in August, and I was heartbroken haha! Also, you may want to make sure you order everything you want at once because the postage charges to India are a little on the steeper side. If you happen to follow me on Instagram, I posted a picture of these gorgeous suede combat boots I got from MakeMeChic. They're on discount at a steal of 14 dollars and have many colour options too. Oh and also make the most of the sale they have going on right now!

Shoes, Clutch, Dress, Hat (similar), Bracelet (old) : makemechic.com

This look was basically planned around the shoes. I've wanted a pair of gold snakeskin sneakers in like forever, so I just had to get these beauties! I paired them with this cowl neck sweater dress. Then, I went for an oxblood hat and leopard print clutch to add contrasts to the look. I actually wanted to get the dress in oxblood, but I finally went with black because it's more neutral and I can style it in so many different ways. Also, not only is the dress high low, but it also has slits on each side, which make it so versatile when it comes to styling. I wore a pair of black shorts to go with the rest of the look, but you can pair it with coloured tights, leggings or jeans too if the weather is too cold for a dress!

Shoes, Top, Bag (available with gold details, silver sold out) : makemechic.com

This look is very different from the kind of clothes I usually wear on the blog. So it was actually really exciting to be stepping out of the usual for a change. Now that I think of it, I've never worn jeans on the blog before! That is so weird, and I hadn't realised it until just now! These jeans are actually an old pair of mine that I ripped myself. I'm completely crushing over everything plaid lately, and these boots stole my heart. I also fell in love with the top and I'll probably be wearing it again a different way soon! As we are at the onset of winter, it can always be paired with high waist jeans and layered with a jacket and scarf, or you could wear it like I did if you come from a place with weather like Mumbai! I chose this sling because it added the perfect amount of edge to pull the whole look together. Bold lips and a midi ring later, I was good to go!

Sneak Peek : The Snob Shop

Skirt and crop top : The Snob Shop (coming soon), Bag - Colaba Causeway, Shoes - Forever 21 (old)

Some of you may already know this, but for those of you that don't, a year ago today, I launched my own Facebook-commerce store called The Snob Shop. It was aimed at providing high street fashion in India. When it started, I had never expected it to grow so much and so fast. The response and love you guys have shown for Snob and to me has been overwhelming to say the least. The store is what inspired me to start blogging in the first place, and this one year has been one of the best ever! I've grown so much, be it personally or professionally, and even my style has evolved immensely since I started Snob.

The only problem we were facing with a Facebook store was that communication and order placement was a very long and complicated process for many of you guys. Our team couldn't confirm orders outside working hours and so many of you would be waiting for replies especially on weekends and holidays.

Now this is the news I've been itching to tell you guys for so so long! The Snob Shop will soon have it's own e-commerce website! So no more order forms and emails, everything is going to get so much easier! And let's not forget the new collection! I've personally chosen all the products that will be available there and they're an extension of my own style. I believe that if I won't wear it, I will not sell it to you guys. The preparation for the launch of the website has been an ongoing process since June, but some or the other hurdles keep coming our way. We finally feel like the date is coming near and hopefully if we don't have any more issues, we should be live this month! We just have to get past the technical nitty-gritties!

Coming to the outfit, this skirt and crop top are both going to be part of Snob's new collection. I personally love the Marilyn Monroe print on the skirt. And the colour of course. I can never resist anything pink. The bell sleeves of the crop top go perfectly well with the whole retro feel of this look. And since I'm anyway going bold and retro with the skirt, why not go all the way with a bright yellow bag? I then added my go-to black heels which brought the look together.

I hope you guys are as excited for the launch as I am. The wait shouldn't be much longer now! Till then, follow The Snob Shop on Instagram as we will start giving you sneak peeks soon and we also have something really exciting you will definitely want to be part of before the launch.

Let me know what you guys think of the look and if you're excited too!

Have a lovely weekend!
