Infallible florals.

Year after year, once the weather starts to get warmer, most of us resort to the unfailing floral print. And if I haven't mentioned it enough already, I'll always be more inclined towards florals than any other print.

Nautical summer.

Although deep waters unnerve me immensely, I've always wanted to be on a cruise. Now I don't think that will be happening anytime soon, but maybe styling an outfit with a nautical theme can try and make up! In the past year, I've planned two nautical themed shoots for the blog, and for some reason, they never worked out. So when it came to styling this navy and white striped maxi from Missa More, the one thing I was sure of was the theme.

In complete contrast to my last post which focused on a pair of heels, today I've got something quite different from the regular. Now I've always been about the high heels and platform sandals (which is quite apparent from the past), but I was recently introduced to a pair of shoes that have changed my opinion vastly.

Unlike what you may think, the shoes aren't really all about sports, but more lifestyle. Studying in a city as busy as London, and constantly having to take the underground and change trains, I end up walking a lot in a day. Especially since I try to save up on the cab fare by opting for the bus or tube instead. In variation to my trusted heeled boots, I tried the Nike Flyknit Roshe to college one day, and I cannot even begin to tell you the difference I felt! I actually enjoyed walking, and there was no pressure on my back whatsoever, which was something I experienced with my boots quite often. The shoes are so lightweight and comfortable, it's unbelievable. I could live in them, I'm not even kidding. I've decided to give my boots a break for a while now. 

Coming to the outfit for this post, I shot this in Bombay as you can probably tell. Sticking to the minimalistic style of the shoes, I kept the outfit neutral and monochromatic as well. I then added a pair of reflective sunglasses and a plaid shirt for some colour. Since the shoes are perfect for everyday wear, I took a more street-style approach, for the outfit and location.

I have a never ending love affair with anything remotely rose gold. You probably already know that. So when I came across this pair of copper heels on Marl Schuz's Facebook page, I instantly knew they would be making their way to the blog soon.

I'm loving every bit of being so active on the blog lately. A 6 week long trip in Bombay gave me the opportunity to work on a lot of new posts and I literally cannot wait to share every single outcome with you guys! But of course, all in good time haha.

Before I had started blogging, my store, The Snob Shop was only a facebook store. Sarika featured the store on her blog, and that was when I spoke to her for the first time.

Ever since I stopped wearing kid's size clothes (I still fit into some of them though haha), a constant problem I've had to face has been finding those perfect denim jeans that feel like they were made for me. I know so many people that have this problem. Because if it fits perfectly at the hips, it's probably too big at the waist, or vice versa. And in the end if everything goes well, the length is probably too long. There's always that little something that's lacking, that keeps me from finding the perfect pair of denim jeans.

Hello there!

I'm back in London if you may not already know from Instagram or Snapchat. I spent my last week in Bombay trying to finish like a million shoots, edit videos and work on future content for my blog and YouTube, but one of the favourite parts of my week was that we hit 50 thousand followers on Instagram! It feels like a huge milestone, and I cannot thank you guys enough for the constant love, support and motivation. You guys keep me going, even in the toughest of times.
