Back to College

Summer holidays have come to an end, and from all the memories I have of my college days, there was always something bittersweet about getting back to college life. As much as I hated the thought of having to wake up early and get to class everyday, half asleep, with my makeup done in a hurry, there are so many memories from those days that I will always cherish. And I must admit, there are times when I wish I'd put in a little bit more effort into my outfit at the time. 

Retrospection

This won't come as news to my Snapchat or Instagram fam, but I've been down with typhoid for the past few days. And I'm not really one to complain about spending time in my own company. In fact, I usually love some down time for myself. But knowing that I'd have to spend a good week or more at home, mostly alone, was something I was really not pleased about to begin with.

The Ultimate Braid Brunch

When it comes to braids, I don't think you'll ever come across someone who struggles with them as much as I do. Which is probably one of the biggest reasons why I prefer leaving my hair loose most of the time, and you barely see me sport a different hairstyle. I'm used to having my mum braid my hair for me every time I oil it, and the one year I spent studying away from home, I'd watch tutorials on YouTube on how to do a basic braid, and would still not end up with it looking right.

I attended the launch of Garnier's new Ultra Blends a few weeks ago, which I was super excited about, because if there's a haircare range that's blended with love, I've gotta be all over it!
