My experience staying at The Westin Pushkar Resort and Spa was unlike any other. You can read all about it here in case you missed it, but for today's post, I'm only going to be talking about the food, because despite being a very fussy vegetarian, I cannot tell you how much delicious food (and drinks) I've devoured there!

I’m not sure how many of you know that I’m a hard core music lover. There's always one song running through my mind all day long, and music is something I need all the time, be it while working, while driving or even walking.

Staycation at The Westin Pushkar

I went on a mini staycation a few weeks ago, to Westin's new property in Pushkar, Rajasthan. If you've seen my Instagram or Snapchat, the picture of my breakfast in our private indoor pool on our first morning there was one of my favourite experiences, and hands down my favourite way to have breakfast ever! 

So today I'm sharing my highlights from the stay with you, along with a few images we took in and around the stunning property.

Experiencing the Sony Xperia XZ Premium

This is something my Instagram family would know, but I took a trip to Shimla less than 2 weeks ago, with the Sony team, for the launch of their spanking new Xperia XZ Premium smartphone. And what a delightful experience it was! I'd never been to that part of India before, so I was really looking forward to it. And we stayed at The Wildflower Hall, which is an absolutely stunning property! More on that later though, I'm sharing my experience with the phone, and the reasons why I've been loving it a lot in the past 10 days.

Cuban Summers

While I'm working on something new and extremely exciting for the blog (more details soon!), I pulled some inspiration from Cuba for today's post. Cuba and the wider Caribbean area has been one of my top places I wish to visit ever since I saw pictures of the vibrant Cuban streets.

For look 1, I found this embroidered pair of distressed denims, and the red roses are so on trend right now. I paired the jeans with a red tee and a denim shirt for some light layering. A pair of clear sunglasses and heels later, I was very happy with the look.

I think this is my favourite look. Not only do I love the outfit, I also love how the pictures turned out. I picked up these ripped shorts with bohemian details, paired them with a basic blue denim shirt, casually tucked in, and completed the look with clear boots and sunglasses. 

For look 3, I wanted to add some fun to my outfit. I chose a pair of skinny jeans, and a denim tee with patches. Patches instantly change the vibe of the entire outfit, and I love how they looked when paired with my furry slides.

Growing up, ever since I made the switch from kid's clothing to women's clothing, United Colors Of Benetton has been one of my favourite brands to shop from. Even when I got a job, after my first salary, it was one of the first stores I visited. Right from the design aspect, to the quality, and even the initiatives taken by them, Benetton has been a brand I've kinda grown up with, and I absolutely love. 

For today's post, I'm sporting an easy summer look that I put together from their new SS'17 collection. This season, they're all about emphasising the usage of knit in your everyday wardrobe. Unlike our usual beliefs, knit isn't just about your snuggly winter sweaters, it's a lot more. It's fun. It's trendy. It's comfortable. It's basically everything you want it to be. There's bright hues, light layers, and tonnes of super comfy options, that are quite fun and stylish as well. I love layering, even in the summer, so I opted for a white dress with self coloured detailing, and paired it with a beige and yellow aztec printed shirt. I've always been fond of reading. Even as a kid, I'd read comics. And Garfield was a favourite. The only reason I even browsed through newspapers was for those short Garfield comic strips. Over the years, of course, my reading choices have evolved, but even today, I'd be as excited to read a Garfield comic strip as I would've been 10 years ago.

Another delayed post, but I'm planning on updating the blog with something new every other day, and I'm so excited to share tonnes of new content with you guys! We shot this look sometime in January end I think, and I've been meaning to post it ever since.

Overall-ed

This post had to go up over the weekend, but I literally had the most stressful and exhausting past few days, and just wanted to take a break from it all and enjoy Holi yesterday. I hope you all had a colourful and safe Holi.
